there's no sam

i go to run patch

there's only ringmod and linsub, no sam

i keep seeing examples of people saying sam, but mine has no sam. please advise.

Our sam firmware is called reciter. The absolute easiest way to access the custom firmware is to download the official firmware banks package on our download page

You can then open the bank inside permut8 (found under By Package -> Official Firmware Banks) and it will load the firmware automatically. Click either of the tape strips to change the phrase or the logo in the top corner to see the firmware help.
